How Fast Are Homes Selling in DC?

A new report out this week found that homes in the DC region are selling nearly a week faster than last October. Today, UrbanTurf takes a look around DC to see how quickly (or slowly) homes are selling in various neighborhoods.
Using median days on market data for advertised subdivisions, we highlighted how long homes are taking to sell around the city.

Two adjacent upper NW DC neighborhoods are seeing homes sell at the quickest pace so far in 2023. Listings in AU Park and Spring Valley are spending less than a week on the market on the market on median. Chevy Chase, Woodley Park and Palisades are also seeing homes sell fairly quickly.
While the homes in the northwest quadrant of the city are moving quickly, it is a bit of different story on the other side of DC. Homes in places like the H Street Corridor, Trinidad and Brookland are sitting on the market much longer this year than last.
