The home built to mimic the White House on Georgetown Pike.
It seems that there isn’t a lot of interest to own a replica of the White House.
UrbanTurf learned on Thursday that the 12,500 square-foot home on Georgetown Pike (map) built as a replica of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW will hit the auction block in early October. The home has been on and off the market for over two years for just under $5 million.

The six-bedroom house sits on two acres, and while it is the exterior that was designed to look like the real White House, there are other presidential touches inside, like a theatre room.
Shockingly, this home is not the only property in McLean built to look like The White House. 1111 Towlston Road is currently on the market, and it was constructed with an Oval Office inside.
