A Relatively Roomy, Furnished Studio in Dupont Circle
This studio is just a couple blocks from Dupont Circle and at 600 square feet is rather large by studio standards in the city. The apartment comes fully furnished, plus the rent includes all utilities, cable and high speed Internet. The washer/dryer is new, but the kitchen hasn’t been updated. We like the character of the space and the compact built-in desk.

An Open One-Bedroom in Mt. Pleasant
This one-bedroom on Park Road in Mt. Pleasant has a nice and open living space with a fireplace and an attached balcony. There’ s no laundry and the unit’s kitchen is not quite as updated as the listing suggests, but the space is close to plenty of things to do, and is about a 12-minute walk from the Columbia Heights Metro station. The apartment is a bright alternative to the English basement rentals that are frequently found around the neighborhood.

An Updated Two-Bed in Edgewood
Of the three options today, you’ll get the most space for your money with this two-bedroom on a quiet block in Edgewood. The neighborhood is close to Eckington (though not in it, as the listing suggests) and not far from the Rhode Island Metro. There’s no in-unit laundry, but the space has been nicely updated and has a bright open living space with a skylight.
