UrbanTurf is looking for experienced writers with local knowledge of DC-area neighborhoods to help us update the neighborhood profile section of our site.
Starting in 2009, UrbanTurf began profiling every neighborhood in DC and the close-in suburbs. For a complete list of those neighborhoods, click here.
We are looking for writers who can insightfully and succinctly capture the essence of any neighborhood while writing in a clever and engaging way.
If you feel like you have the chops and knowledge for this position, please email us with three writing samples. To get a sense of the style, tone, and feel of what we want, be sure to read through some of our existing profiles.
Send your application to editor2015@urbanturf.com. We look forward to hearing from you.
