Three listings featured this week on UrbanTurf are already under contract or have sales pending, including the nine-bedroom Dupont Circle foreclosure that hit the market on Wednesday.

1906 Five-Bedroom Four Square in Martin’s Addition

Under Contract: The Best, The Deal and The Foreclosure: Figure 1

In Best New Listings on Monday, we featured a five-bedroom home in the Martin’s Addition section of Chevy Chase that has a sale pending on it after just about six days on the market. We noted that the interior will eventually need to be updated, but that the home had some cool features like a large wrap-around front porch, a walk-up attic with two built-in beds and an enormous half-acre backyard.

A Four-Bedroom in AU Park Attracting Multiple Offers

Under Contract: The Best, The Deal and The Foreclosure: Figure 2

This four-bedroom colonial in AU Park came across our radar earlier this week after seeing its listing price, which was about $100,000 less than comparable properties in the area. All told, it received 13 offers and is now under contract. The home has been extensively renovated over the past eight months and has all new bathrooms, kitchen and electrical and HVAC systems. In addition to a living room on the main floor, the home has a small family room off the kitchen, a rec room in the basement and a screened porch on the main level.

The Nine-Bedroom Dupont Circle Foreclosure

Under Contract: The Best, The Deal and The Foreclosure: Figure 3

It was just Wednesday when we featured this nine-bedroom, four-bathroom foreclosure in Dupont Circle, not the first DC neighborhood that comes to mind when you think of bank-owned properties. The listing needs a lot of work ranging from structural repairs to updates of the kitchen and bathrooms to the installation of central A/C. The listing agent told UrbanTurf that the work will likely total a minimum of around $200,000. That clearly didn’t deter interest, though, as the property had five showings scheduled within hours of being listed and is under contract just two days after it hit the market.

  • Address: 2126 R Street NW (map)
  • Price: $1,366,900
  • Bedrooms: Nine
  • Bathrooms: Four
  • Days on Market: Twoish
