This Week's Find: Loft Living Near the Convention Center

The rent is admittedly a little ambitious for this two-bedroom near the intersection of 11th and M Street NW, but for those with a large rental budget it may be worth the extra cost.
The unit does have a loft feel going for it, and the fact that the eventual tenant will have elevator access right into their apartment is one of those amenities that UrbanTurf finds uber-luxurious. While not a loft in the true sense of the word, the unit has a large living space with massive floor-to-ceiling windows made of tinted low-e glass.
The kitchen has a Sub-zero refrigerator and recycled glass countertops, and there is a balcony off the living room. The building offers concierge services and has a number of eco-friendly features, including a green roof, and energy-efficient lighting and dual-flush toilets in the units.
The rent includes gas and water, but not utilities like cable and electricity. More details below.
- Address: 11th and M Street NW (map)
- Price: $5,000 a month
- Total Square Footage: Approximately 1,400 square feet
