This Saturday May 8th, EYA’s newest DC townhome community Chancellor’s Row at Brookland Metro will open for pre-construction sales.
Located on ten beautifully landscaped acres of the St. Paul’s College, Chancellor’s Row is surrounded by century-old institutions, yet conveniently situated steps from the modern amenities home buyers desire. Within just a few city blocks is Brookland/CUA Metro station (red line) for easy access to Capitol Hill, countless local shops, restaurants, and theater, fitness, and cultural activities on the campuses of Trinity University and Catholic University.

The three- and four-bedroom townhome models at Chancellor’s Row are designed to complement DC’s classic “row house” architecture. Town houses will have traditional features (hardwood floors, granite countertops, high ceilings, brick stoops) as well as a number of 21st century touches (advanced wiring for high-speed internet, cable and phone, chef’s kitchens with state-of-the-art Energy Star appliances). All of the homes come with either one- or two-car garages and rooftop terraces, plus some with front porches. Starting at $469,000, the new luxury townhomes are arguably the most affordable in the District.

In keeping with the green building movement, the homes of Chancellor’s Row have been designed to LEED for Homes standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council, the most comprehensive green building certification program in the country. In addition to being Energy Star labeled, the homes have energy-efficient, light-colored roofs, water-conserving faucets and shower heads, and a third-party inspected house wrap and energy seal package. Optional energy-efficient add-ons include installation of solar-electric panels or a solar hot water system and an electric car charging station.
This Saturday, in addition to marking the beginning of pre-construction sales, prospective buyers can view a full 3-D scale model of the various models in Chancellor’s Row and get information on pricing, amenities and floorplans.
The grand opening will take place from 11am to 6pm at 650-T Jackson Street NE (map). Home site reservations will be accepted starting Sunday at 11am. Call 202-290-3794 for additional details or visit www.EYA.com.
