Solaire Wheaton: Metro, Live-Work Space, and 2 Months Free

Adjacent to the Wheaton Metro station and just a short drive from downtown DC, Solaire Wheaton -- a community of new luxury apartment homes -- have become the residential highlight of the Wheaton neighborhood. Since debuting this past winter, the six-story, LEED Silver-certified building has seen a steady influx of renters and is on track to be fully leased by the end of the year.
Much can account for the building’s popularity, including the high-end finishes and amenities, unique live-work floor plans, a top-notch location and professional management by Gables Residential—an award-winning real estate company with a handful of flourishing, local communities, including The Flats at Wheaton Station, Jefferson at Inigo's Crossing, and Gables Takoma Park.
Gables Residential is currently offering two months rent-free to those who lease a Solaire Wheaton apartment within the next month.
Solaire Wheaton, designed in the image of New York’s Flatiron Building, is located at 10914 Georgia Avenue (map) and offers studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment homes. The apartment homes range in size from 568 to 1,185 square feet and start at $1,570 a month.
Roughly half of the apartment homes have a balcony, and ground-floor units include a particularly unique feature: storefront workspaces that can be accessed both via the apartments and from the street (Georgia Avenue). The workspaces are Solaire Wheaton’s solution for renters looking for greater work-life balance.
The apartment homes are modern and minimalist, with ample closet and pantry space, granite countertops, white lacquered cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Building amenities include a club room with an indoor/outdoor fireplace, full kitchen, pool table and shuffleboard table; a resort-style swimming pool with submerged, built-in lounge chairs; a 24-hour concierge; a fitness center; an outdoor barbeque and gazebo; and a massive lobby with industrial ceilings and a Wi-Fi café.
Onsite parking is available and includes a motor court—a convenient circular drive for visitor parking. Zipcars will also be offered onsite.
In addition to easy and direct public transportation access, Solaire Wheaton is located next to Westfield Mall, and within walking distance of eight public parks, a movie theater and dozens of restaurants, bars and food markets.
