UrbanTurf continues its annual look at the neighborhood markets around the DC region. Today, we head over to the zip code that encompasses Crystal City and Pentagon City in Northern Virginia.
For two years in a row, the 22202 zip code, home to Amazon's second headquarters, has seen both total dollar volume and home sales volume rise. Virtually every property type has seen an increase in sales, with condo and co-op sales leading the way. The increase in sales is leading to a bit more breathing room for buyers, as homes are sitting on the market longer and a key competition metric has dropped.
Below are some statistics that UrbanTurf compiled about the 22202 market.
