We had hundreds of responses to the UrbanTurf reader survey that we launched a week and a half ago. A big thank-you to all of you who took the survey and shared a little information about yourselves. As we noted in our original post, the survey results help us continue to grow and improve UrbanTurf.
We want to congratulate the five winners of the drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Amazon or Groupon:
- Rachel Frederick
- Cassandra Mendez
- Josie Morris
- Dan O’Neil
- Michael Radford
We also wanted to share some findings from the collected survey responses. Below are the results from a few of the survey questions that had to do with UrbanTurf readers’ habits and preferences.
How often do you read UrbanTurf?
Most of you (95%) read the site at least once a week, with half reading every day.
Which UrbanTurf features do you like best?
Of all our weekly features, Best New Listings, neighborhood profiles, and Deal of the Week are the most popular.
How long have you been reading UrbanTurf?
UrbanTurf is still a young publication; our second anniversary is actually this month. But the majority of you (59%) started reading in just the last 12 months.
How many times in the past month would you estimate UrbanTurf has come up in offline conversation?
Many readers discuss the topics they read about on UrbanTurf in conversations offline. For half of you, UrbanTurf has come up in conversation at least once in the last month, while for almost a quarter (22.6%) UrbanTurf has come up three or more times.
