New renderings have been published for an all-affordable residential development pitched for the site of a Goodwill store in Arlington.
Goodwill and AHC, Inc. filed plans with Arlington County back in May for a 128-unit development at the site of the Goodwill retail store and donation center at the intersection of South Glebe Road and Arlington Boulevard (map). The six-floor project will consist of five levels of affordable housing above a new Goodwill store and donation center, and the units would be for residents earning up to 60% area median income.

"In an effort to help meet the need to provide affordable housing for families, approximately 74% of the [apartments] are proposed as two- and three-bedroom units," documents filed with Arlington County stated. "Resident, child care, employee and overflow customer parking will be located in the below-grade garage."

This project is scheduled to go before Arlington's Site Plan Review Committee in the coming weeks.
