While some jurisdictions and hospitals are doing drive-thru COVID-19 testing, one title company is trying to bring the same level of convenience and minimal contact to real estate closings.
Minnesota-based closing and title insurance company Legacy Title began drive-thru closing services at one of its locations this past Monday. Clients are able to make appointments to use the service, and the company notes that the real estate market is still benefiting from the demand induced by low mortgage interest rates.

"Doing this in the drive thru ensures we are adhering to the social distancing orders all of us have been given,” Executive Closer Carmen Jorgensen explained in a statement. “A few clients told us they were considering canceling their closing for safety reasons until they found out about this convenient option.”
Despite this new method, there is still a statewide "stay-at-home" order in effect in Minnesota until April 10th.
