The property that includes LeDroit Park Market and two stories of unfinished residential space above it went under contract on Sunday, after just over a week on the market.
1901 4th Street NW (map) is a corner property set amidst rowhouses in LeDroit Park. With an asking price of $998,000, the intriguing property comes with a ready-to-operate market on the ground level, complete with a beer and wine license that will carry over to the new owner. The two upper floors are essentially a blank slate, and could be renovated as one larger unit or two smaller ones.
Last week, we heard that the property had received an offer that would keep the current market in place, with the same name and atmosphere.
