Another market will open soon in the Union Market area.

La Cosecha, the sprawling Latin market around the corner from Union Market, will open on a four-day schedule starting on October 3. The market at 1280 4th Street NE (map) will be open Thursday through Sunday with vendor pop-ups offering food, wine, clothing and other goods from South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

The cuisine options will include Venezuelan and Salvadoran street food, Peruvian sandwiches, a Mexican-German bakery and a cocktail bar from the group behind Colada Shop.

The market, operated by EDENS, will be open at 11am daily.
