Rounding Up in 16th Street Heights
This 16th Street Heights rowhouse was listed for a peculiar amount, so when the property went under contract in less than a week, the accepted bid simply rounded up to seven figures. The updated house has interesting features, like an arch-framed inglenook with a wood-burning fireplace between built-in shelving in the living room. A breakfast room/den off the kitchen has tiled floors, a wide glass block window, and glass french doors out to the rear slate patio with pergola and raised gardens. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a sleeping porch with glass block window, and the top floor serves as a bonus room. The lower level has another kitchen, bedroom, and full bath, and the house also has a detached garage.

The traditional interior has a set of pocket doors on either side of the entry hall, leading on one side into the living room with its exposed-beam coffered ceiling and white brick fireplace opposite a box bay window seat. There is also a sunroom-like bonus room on the main level with en-suite bath and backyard access. The partially-finished basement has log-like columns around the staircase and exposed wooden ceiling beams and offers both storage and flex space.
