This edition of Deal of the Week features an attractive listing at a price point not often seen in and around Georgetown.

One half of a two-flat townhouse, the one-bedroom condo has lots of windows, cool built-ins (including what looks like about 30 wine bottle-sized nooks in the kitchen), 9-foot ceilings, a fireplace, access to a back patio and a location on a quiet street on the northern end of the neighborhood. With 775 square feet, the rooms are also pretty spacious, and the slightly unusual shape of the house means that it has lots of cozy nooks. The condo fees are quite low for DC ($145), and for $425,000, the buyer gets a lot of space by Georgetown standards.

In a neighborhood where parking spaces can fetch over $50,000 and the price per square foot generally hovers around $700 and up, this option offers entry into the area for first-timers.
