If a home’s bargainworthiness is tied to the number of people that come to its first open house, 939 T Street NW is a steal. Approximately 130 people came through the doors of the U Street Corridor three-bedroom during this past Sunday’s deluge.

Of course, whether a home is a deal or not hinges on more than just its popularity. This three-bedroom corner row house has a price ($499,555) and price per square foot ($278) that, for this area, usually indicates that a home is in serious disrepair, which this home is not. While it needs A/C and many visitors at the open house discussed improvements or changes that could be made, the home is in perfectly livable condition.

The living area on the main level consists of two rooms with tall bay windows, upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom, the kitchen is on the lower level (perhaps one of the things that a buyer would move), and out back is a garden/patio area.

We understand that offers are due on Wednesday, and there will likely be several.
