Usually homes like this installment of Deal of the Week in Trinidad are listed for sale a few months after they have been snatched up at a low price, rehabbed, and then put back on the market at double or even triple what the buyer initially paid.
So, while this three-bedroom is a short sale and needs a fair amount of work, it could be a bargain for a buyer who wanted to put their own sweat equity into it.
Further proof of its deal-worthiness: Since January 2010, there have been 10 home sales on Morse Street. Five of those were in need of a great deal of work, sold for more than $130,000, and were smaller than this property.
More details below.
- Address: 1147 Morse Street NE (map)
- Price: $130,000
- Bedrooms: Three
- Bathrooms: One
- Square Footage: 1,548
- Price Per Square Foot: $84
Update: Between 11pm last night and 7am this morning, the list price for this property was upped by $68,000 to its current price of $198,000. UrbanTurf’s guess is that the original price ($130,000) generated a tremendous amount of interest prompting the change.
