DC Circulator Launches First Route East of the River

The DC Circulator’s newest route, which represents the upstart bus system’s first foray east of the Anacostia River, began service this morning at 11am.
The route will start at the Potomac Avenue station in Hill East, go up Pennsylvania Avenue to 8th Street, take a left down Barracks Row, cross the 11th Street Bridge, continue down Good Hope Road to where it ends up at the Skyland Shopping Center, before heading back along the same path. (See the green line on the map below.)

The new route is one of many new Circulator routes that are planned over the next decade.
