A newly-constructed five-bedroom house in Hillcrest just sold for $925,000 — the highest price ever paid for a new house on this side of the city by nearly $100,000. The five-bedroom house at 3126 Westover Drive SE (map), was listed for just under $1 million by Alex Weaver of Re/Max Excellence Realty. Natalee Snider of Compass brought the buyer.
In contrast to this sales price, the median sales price for homes in the zip code where this home sold is $306,000. Prior to this sale, the priciest homes to sell east of the River were both newly-constructed homes on the same block, purchased a decade ago for $830,000 and $825,000, a bit less than their original listing prices.
