One of the most priciest homes on the market in Georgetown just sold.

Like many homes in Georgetown, the listing has a storied history. Built in 1840, the property has been home to members of Congress and presidential cabinets and was once owned by F. Scott Fitzgerald's daughter Scottie.
The estate sits on a 30,000 square-foot lot, quite large by Georgetown standards, and the 11,000 square-foot interior is ready for the new owner's personal touch. In addition to the main house, the property includes a four-bedroom guesthouse, a children's playhouse, two greenhouses, a garden pavilion, a heated pool and pool house, and a pair of two-car garages.
