Add another new residential building to Arlington's development pipeline.

Rooney Properties has filed plans with Arlington County for a 12-story, 276-unit building at 3130 Langston Boulevard (map), a site that is currently home to a Walgreens pharmacy. The L-shaped building, designed by dcs design, will have a pool deck with a courtyard on the third level, as well as a 5,000 square-foot public park and dog run.

"The proposed development also includes significant site improvements, including but not limited to street and sidewalk improvements along Langston Boulevard and North Kirkwood Road, stormwater planters, a green roof, and a multi-use pathway fronting the site on Langston Boulevard," application documents stated.

The retail area and the main residential entry will be located along Langston Boulevard, and approximately 331 parking spaces will be provided located in a multi-level garage.
