Renovated Two-Bedroom Home on The Hill
1358 North Carolina Avenue NE is just a block to the northeast of Lincoln Park, making it about equidistant from H Street and Eastern Market. The two-bedroom, 1.5-bath home was recently renovated and now has a patio out back and an eat-in kitchen with a small dining nook. There is a small front porch which can fit two chairs and the front yard has been professionally landscaped. Although there is just one full bathroom and the second bedroom is a little small, this home is in move-in ready condition for a buyer looking for a well-located two-bedroom home on The Hill. Two-Bedroom Condo at 2020 Lofts in U Street Corridor
2020 Lofts is a 146-unit building just to the north of Ben’s Chili Bowl that was built several years ago when industrial (9-foot+ ceilings, exposed duct work, floor-to-ceiling windows) design was quite popular for new projects in the city. Unit #507 has a fairly standard layout, with a kitchen that opens to the living and dining area and two bedrooms off to either side. The bedrooms each include a full bathroom and there is a small balcony off of the master bath. Condo fees are a little high at $550 but include amenities like a roof deck, fitness room and common room with business center functions. (The unit also comes with a parking space.) The building is close to the action of the U Street Corridor and just a block away from the U Street Metro on the Green Line. For the full listing, click here.

Investment Potential on the Edge of Bloomingdale
The DC neighborhood of Bloomingdale is just to the southeast of LeDroit Park, and is one of several areas looking for residual benefits from the economic development on and around the U Street Corridor. 18 Seaton Place NW is a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath row home with a rentable English basement in the neighborhood that is priced fairly well at $280 per square foot. The house has three gas fireplaces, a deck out back and pretty good-sized bedrooms, but the eventual buyer will likely want to do some additional renovations to those that have already been done. That said, a good offer could be accepted and pay off down the road. For the full listing, click here.
