This week in What X Rents You, UrbanTurf looks in the $2,200 a month range and found a variety of choices for prospective renters in the DC area with this monthly budget.
Two-Bedroom Yellow Bungalow in Del Ray
The layout for this Del Ray bungalow is a little peculiar. The first floor has a kitchen, living/dining area, bathroom and a small second bedroom. The entire upstairs level consists of the master bedroom. The basement is unfinished (and the house does not have a washer/dryer), but there is a fenced-in backyard. The house will be ready to be shown by next week, and available to move in shortly after that.

The bi-level loft-like apartment has ceilings in some sections that goes as high as 18 feet, a private entrance, central A/C, washer/dryer and a number of skylights. Carriage houses in Dupont Circle have been a popular property type of late along 16th Street, both to buy and to rent.

Four-Bedroom Colonial Near Historic Hyattsville
Remodeled in 2004, this four-bedroom colonial sits on a block near the middle of Hyattsville. The house has large windows, the original hardwood floors and staircase, washer/dryer and one of the bedrooms could come furnished. Although it has just 1.5 bathrooms, it could be a good option for a group of young professionals, as it has a driveway for multiple-car parking.
