A pair of properties that offer a unique location and opportunity in Georgetown have found a buyer.
The two residences at 3524-3526 K Street NW (map) adjacent to the Key Bridge Boathouse and at the mouth of the Capital Crescent Trail went under contract last week. The properties are listed for $2.995 million with Matt McCormick and Lou Cardenas of TTR Sotheby's International Realty.

The two, four-level towhomes are owned by George Washington University, and have been on and off the market for the past few years. Chances are that the buyer likely purchased the listings for their location, rather than the homes themselves.
The two residences are the only single-family homes that sit along the Potomac River on the south side of K Street NW in Georgetown, offering a potentially very attractive development opportunity, albeit in a place where getting new residential construction approved isn’t easy.
UrbanTurf has reached out to the listing agents for more information as to what is in store for the properties.
