DC's newest Trader Joe's is about to open.
The new outpost of the popular grocery store announced on Monday that it will open at Monroe Street Market (map) on May 15.
The 11,000 square-foot store will be the sixth Trader Joe's location in the city, but not the last. In 2024, news came that a store is looking to open at the Chevy Chase Pavilion in Friendship Heights. Work continues on that location, but an opening date has yet to be announced.
