This Week's Find needs a little imagination and lots of love, but it comes with architecture and history that can't easily be purchased.

This riverfront property in Centreville, Maryland was formerly part of a farming estate, and was purchased by Mary Loveland Chisholm in the 1980s. Chisholm developed the land into a unique home made out of two grain silos, as well as a barn. An esteemed equestrian, Chisholm, who was featured on the front of several equine magazines, raised Welsh ponies and corgis in the barn until her passing.

The main building consists of two silos featuring walkways connecting the pillars on each of the four floors. Wrap-around decks are found on the second and third levels. Because of the local jurisdictions' height restrictions, the structure is one of the few buildings in the area with sweeping 360-degree views of the rural countryside beyond, thanks to an exception to the area height restrictions for agricultural dwellings.

All the wood is original to the home, but the space is not currently habitable, and the eventual buyer will need to restore it.

The barn features seven stalls, a workshop, an office and a bathroom. Though it could still be used for livestock, there's an opportunity to build upon the strong bones and create a liveable in-law suite or event space.

The property sits on almost 44 acres of land and is accessible by a mile-long drive. With 600 feet of access along the Chester River and 2,200 feet on Whites Cove, locals who travel down the waterways consider this property to be a local landmark, according to the listing agent.
