About a week and a half ago, we asked readers to guess the price of four-bedroom modern home in Philadelphia designed by one of the 20th century’s most well-respected architects. Here is a brief description of the property for those that missed the post:
“The home was the architect’s main residence and this is the first time that it has ever been on the market. It was designed so that the owners could move quickly through indoor and outdoor living spaces, and walls of windows were installed throughout the property so that the residents always had views of the extensive gardens. While the home is certainly high-end, it does not carry quite as hefty a price tag as similar homes in New York or DC.”
Take a look:

So how much would you have to plunk down for this modern masterpiece? The price: $1.3 million. Here is the listing.
The guesses ranged from a low of $799,900 to a high of $2.1 million. The winner, with a dead-on guess of $1.3 million, was Mark Orsborn. Mark also guessed the home’s architect, Ehrman B. Mitchell. For guessing both the price and the architect, Orsborn is the lucky recipient of an UrbanTurf t-shirt.
