Obama’s Old Kitchen!
“OBAMA SLEPT HERE AND YOU CAN TOO.”
That is how the Craigslist ad reads for the New York City apartment that President Obama lived in when he was a student at Columbia University. The Upper West Side two-bedroom is listed for $1,900 a month, which is actually a pretty decent rate for a Manhattan apartment these days.
The apartment looks pretty simple and if we know Manhattan landlords, it likely hasn’t been updated much since the prez lived there. Regardless, we imagine demand is pretty high for this unit if only for the cocktail conversation starter that the lucky renter will have. More photos below.
