The Park Lincoln: 5 New Condos Enjoy Park View's Best View

In DC’s Park View neighborhood, blocks from the Petworth Metro station, two century-old townhomes have been transformed into five boutique condos. For their urban setting, the homes enjoy an incredibly unique view: 320 acres of green space at The Old Soldiers’ Home, which served as a summer retreat for many U.S. Presidents—but most notably, Abraham Lincoln.
The newly renovated property is called The Park Lincoln and its five condos, located at 3612 Park Place near Otis Place (map), are now selling for between $689,000 and $799,000. With tours underway, one home is already under contract, and all five will be move-in ready in August. The property will hold an Open House this Sunday, July 12th, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Like The Old Soldiers’ Home, the original townhomes that make up The Park Lincoln carry grandeur of the past. The brick exteriors have been carefully restored, and the interior brick walls have been exposed. Reclaimed wood from the original joists, and that of the property’s Magnolia tree, have been repurposed into sliding barn doors, bathroom vanities, shelving, benches and other decorative pieces throughout the units.
The residences at The Park Lincoln consist of three two-level units with three bedrooms each (one two-level unit is a penthouse); one flat with two bedrooms; and one three-bedroom penthouse flat. Units one and two each include an in-law suite. Every unit includes at least two balconies—one front facing and one in the rear—while ground level units also include patios and one penthouse unit includes three balconies and a private roof deck. One parking space is included with each home.
Interiors include high, curved and vaulted ceilings, large living spaces, wide plank hardwood floors, gourmet kitchens with Carrara marble counters and stainless steel appliances and large bedrooms with walk-in closets.
The Park Lincoln is less than a ten-minute walk from the Petworth Metro station (Green/Yellow Lines) and less than a 15-minute walk from 11th Street restaurants like Maple, Kangaroo Boxing Club, Room 11, El Chucho and The Coupe. The property is also within close walking distance of Safeway and Yes! Organic Market.
