This week’s best new listings include a large one-bedroom condo in the Woodley Park Towers, a convertible three-bedroom condo in Mount Pleasant for under half a million dollars and a studio in Logan Circle for just under $200K.

Big One-Bedroom in Woodley Park Towers

The Best New Listings in the DC Area: Figure 1

2737 Devonshire Place NW (see map here)

  • Price: $339,000
  • Bedrooms: One
  • Bathrooms: One
  • Square Footage: 927
  • Price per SF: $366
  • Condo Fees: $719/month

This 927 square-foot, one-bedroom condo is located in the Woodley Park Towers, an Art Deco building that is listed as one of Washington’s Best Addresses. The unit has a large living area, a separate dining room, a bedroom with a wall of closets (including a walk-in closet), and a balcony that overlooks Rock Creek Park. The condo fees are high, but they include gas, heat, water and payment of all community amenities. For the full listing, click here.

Convertible Three-Bedroom Condo in Mount Pleasant For Under $500K

The Best New Listings in the DC Area: Figure 2

1635 Irving Street NW (see map here)

  • Price: $495,000
  • Bedrooms: Two
  • Bathrooms: Two
  • Square Footage: 1,250
  • Price per SF: $396
  • Condo Fees: $306/month

The listing claims that this two-bedroom, plus den condo in Mount Pleasant is the “size of a house.” It is not quite that big in most people’s eyes, but at 1,250 square feet, it is spacious. The property comes with three private parking spaces, and two rear decks, and even though the den is small, it certainly could be made into a small bedroom. The master bedroom has a fireplace and a new luxury bathroom. For the full listing, click here.

Logan Circle Studio for Just Under $200K

The Best New Listings in the DC Area: Figure 3

1300 Massachusetts Avenue NW, #505 (see map here)

  • Price: $199,000
  • Bedrooms: 0
  • Bathrooms: One
  • Square Footage: 405
  • Price per SF: $491
  • Condo Fees: $347/month

For a first-time buyer that works downtown, this is a pretty good deal. Granted it is a studio, but with high ceilings, hardwood floors and a good-sized kitchen and bathroom, you would be hard pressed to find something better in the area for this price. The condo fee includes central heat and air conditioning. For the full listing, click here.
