The former McLean digs of Washington Wizards and Capitals owner Ted Leonsis hit the market recently for $14.7 million.
6827 Sorrel Street covers 3.5 acres in the Langley Forest section on McLean. The 15,000 square-foot, eight-bedroom home has many of the luxury trappings that one might expect of a house in this price range. There is a billiards room, in-home gym and theater, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming pool and guest house outside, and a regulation tennis court. The home is listed with Daniel Heider of TTR Sotheby's International Realty.

After owning the home for several years, Ted Leonsis sold 6827 Sorrel Street back in 2011 for $9 million to Nextel founder Chris Rogers, but it was really more of a house swap, as Leonsis in turn purchased Rogers' 13-acre Marwood estate along the Potomac River around the same time. Shortly after acquiring the Sorrel Street estate, Rogers put it back on the market and it sold to the current owners in September 2012.
