A new boutique project is on the boards for Columbia Heights.
Kay Properties has pitched a nine-unit development for 1448 Fairmont Street NW (map). Designed by Dasol Engineer Architects, the new development will be comprised of studio and one-bedroom apartments ranging from 410 to 600 square feet. The development is matter-of-right, however Kay Properties has filed for special exception relief from the zoning requirement of one parking space.
