A new rendering provides a better sense for how Adams Morgan's former Brass Knob warehouse will be redeveloped into a residential project.
King's Creek, LLC filed plans with the city back in August for a four-story residential development at 2329 and 2335 Champlain Street NW (map), the site of the former architectural salvage warehouse. The project will now have 31 units, rather than the previously proposed 33 units.

The unit mix would span from studios to two-bedrooms, and seven of the units would be inclusionary zoning. There will be 16 bicycle spaces, 8 vehicular spaces and one carshare space. The existing granite stone exterior would be incorporated into the design, which will be helmed by Bonstra|Haresign Architects.
A zoning meeting for the development is scheduled for later this month.
