- Pancake fans in NW can now get their fix. The much-anticipated IHOP in Columbia Heights opened its doors at 8am this morning in the DC USA development. Those pining for New York cheesecake pancakes, the Split Decision Breakfast or a Take Two Combo can visit the establishment between 7am and 11pm until November 26th. From then on, the restaurant will be open 24 hours a day.
- The Washington Post reports that starting next month, Megabus will launch ten new routes from its base at 10th and H Streets NW. The discount, double-decker bus will start offering trips to Richmond, Knoxville, Raleigh, Boston, Buffalo, Charlotte, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Toronto. No Brooklyn service yet, though.
- In what is the best parody that we have seen in some time, Flick user Evan Hensleigh has created some hilarious faux-ads for the WMATA. Our favorite is above.
