One-of-a-Kind Residences Debut In Union Market Neighborhood
In DC’s Union Market neighborhood, innovative developer Warmington Oppenheim Development (WOD) has collaborated with award-winning architect Kube to create a one-of-a-kind luxury, boutique condominium. Agudo boasts exceptional quality, impeccable design, unique finishes and consists of just four three-bedroom, duplex residences.
Past WOD creations—including 917 9th Street NE—saw record sales and earned the firm a devoted following. Agudo is anticipated to be no different, as one of the penthouse residences is already under contract. The remaining homes start at $989,900, and are sized at nearly 1,900 square feet. Move-ins will begin at the end of March.
Finishes for Agudo have minimalist, Scandinavian influences and eye-catching details that create inspired and beautifully light spaces. Outside, oversized windows are set at angles—creating interesting interior spaces— and the exterior entrance is sheathed in Japanese-style Shou Sugi Ban cedar, making it unlike any residential building in the neighborhood.
Inside, beautiful wood staircases are a focal point for each of the residences open-concept living levels, while the sleeping levels feature three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. High-end finishes include custom maple kitchen cabinetry, sand-in-place white oak hardwood floors and Nest doorbell/thermostat systems. The chef's kitchens feature large islands, walk-in pantries, panelized appliances and gas cooking. The homes have designer lighting throughout, including Louis Poulsen and Herman Miller pendants in the penthouse.
All of Agudo’s residences feature private outdoor space. The two ground floor residences boast separate patio spaces and the penthouse features a 600 square foot rooftop terrace with IPE decking, stainless steel cabinets, gas and water hookup, custom planter boxes, string lighting and panoramic views of the city. One parking space is also provided with each of the homes.
Agudo is located at 513 M Street NE (map), across the street from Union Market and steps from hot spots like St. Anselm, Masseria, Oku, Red Bear Brewing and more.
To make an appointment to tour the remaining three Agudo residences, please contact McWilliams|Ballard Senior Sales Director Kate Hanley at 202.568.3045, or visit the property online at Agudodc.com.
