1700 Q Street NW
A Dupont Circle mansion is currently being converted into a four-unit condo development that will deliver in late summer/early fall, UrbanTurf has learned.
1700 Q Street NW (map), a home designed by architect Thomas Franklin Schneider and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was purchased in December 2012 by UrbanVibe Developers.
The Q will consist of four two-bedroom, two-bath condos, including a penthouse with a roof terrace and outdoor kitchen. The interior square footage of the units will average out a 1,250, but a few will spread out over 1,600 square feet. Each will have wide-plank wood floors and high ceilings, as well as snazzy amenities like pre-installed cappuccino machines and wine storage.
The units are projected to deliver in late summer/early fall of this year. The architect is Kamm Architecture and the units will be listed by the A|E Group.
