This week’s If I Had $1 Million listing is a prime property for someone looking to redevelop a historic DC home.

The Victorian row home at 1226 11th Street NW houses three law practices that did big business in the 1970s, but are now pretty much defunct. Listing agent Michael Kiefer told UrbanTurf that the ideal buyer for the property is someone that wants to redevelop the property into condos similar to the The Twelve Twenty-One Condominiums a block over on 12th Street. (A small DC developer has already expressed interest.) This property is in need of work and is not for a buyer that is unwilling to put in some work as the interior will need to be completely gutted if purchased with the intention of transforming it into condos. More details below.
- Address: 1226 11th Street NW (map)
- Price: $1,000,000
- Bedrooms: Five
- Bathrooms: Two
- Square Footage: 2,814
