The K at CityVista, 5th and K NW
CityVista could eventually have a Ray’s Hell Burger during the day and a Ray’s the Steaks at night.
Prince of Petworth reported this morning that he has heard rumors that Ray’s owner Michael Landrum has leased space at the Mount Vernon Triangle condo project for a restaurant that would serve burgers during the day and steaks at night. Landrum’s coffee and sandwich shop project Ryse, slated for CityVista, fell through earlier this year.
Ray’s newest venture would join Kushi, Busboys and Poets, Taylor Gourmet, Mandu and Chipotle at the block-sized complex in the middle of Mount Vernon Triangle. During the tail end of the large condo development boom in 2009, CityVista was one of the fastest selling new projects in the region.
