Brooklyn Bowl Coming to 455-Unit Planned Development Next to Audi Field

A next generation bowling alley is coming to a new project right next to Audi Field. 

Hoffman & Associates announced Wednesday that the newest location of Brooklyn Bowl is coming to the firm's planned development at Parcel B next to the stadium (map). The new project will be an S-shaped building with 110 affordable senior one-bedrooms, 352 apartments, a new office headquarters for non-profit Volunteers of America (VOA), and 50,450 square feet of ground-floor retail, restaurant, entertainment, and/or performance space. 

Brooklyn Bowl DC will take up 38,000 square feet of that retail space with 14 lanes for bowling, a 1,200 person concert venue, a craft bar and a menu curated by New York City’s Blue Ribbon Restaurant Group. As part of a design review application filed last summer for the development, Hoffman & Associates sought a special exception to allow a bowling alley. 

"The first retail concept announced for this dynamic mixed-use development, Brooklyn Bowl will span two floors and anchor the double-sided retail and entertainment corridor between Parcel B and Audi Field, activating the center of the neighborhood with an energy that will enhance the space and bring people from across the city and region," a press release about the new location stated.
