JBG’s proposal to build Bethesda’s tallest residential building could move forward this week.
The firm is seeking approval from the Montgomery County Planning Board on Thursday for its mixed-used North Bethesda Market II project. The company wants to build a 300-foot-tall residential tower on the site. This past summer the company tweaked the plan, replacing some of the project’s planned offices with more residences.
The 740,000 square foot project would sit on 4.5 acres in White Flint just west of Rockville Pike. In total, the project could include up to 470 units to be constructed in three phases. The Montgomery County Planning Board staff has already recommended approval of the project.
