A year after Jefferson Apartment Group filed plans to redevelop the site of the RCA office building in Rosslyn, the Arlington County Board is poised to approve the proposal.
The County Board will vote on Saturday on a site plan amendment for 1901 N. Moore Street (map) which would pave the way for a 26-story development with 423 apartments above 12,130 square feet of retail.

The new development would have two volumes atop a retail podium, connected by a penthouse amenity bridge. There would also be 286 below- and above-grade parking spaces, the latter behind decorative screening, as well as 169 secured bicycle spaces. Shalom Baranes Associates is the architect.
The County would also have to vacate some portions of the three internal streets abutting the existing site to enable development to move forward; the development team will pay almost $8.3 million to the county. The pedestrian bridge currently spanning North Moore Street to Rosslyn Gateway will also be removed as the RCA building is leveled.
