3101 Chain Bridge Road
A new listing quietly entered the market last week that took the crown as DC’s most expensive home for sale, Curbed DC reported this morning.
At $16.125 million, the listing at 3101 Chain Bridge Road (map) takes the top spot in the region. The 15,600 square-foot house has seven bedrooms, eight full baths, four half baths, six fireplaces, a sauna and steam shower, and a separate guest house. It is perched right over Battery Kemble Park and has plenty of balconies and porches looking into the woods.
If this listing follows the trend, we may see the asking price drop significantly before the house finds a buyer.
We have to wonder if Ryuji Ueno and Sachiko Kuno, the pharmaceutical tycoons who went on a luxury home shopping spree last year, have any desire for yet another tony property. For more photos, see below and check out Curbed DC.
