Carr has plans on the boards to redevelop its existing office property at 901 North Pitt Street (map) with an eight-story multi-family residential building containing 250 units with approximately 5,700 square feet of retail and approximately 6,500 square feet of arts use on the ground floor.
The Alexandria City Council will vote on whether or not the project can move forward at its meeting this weekend, but the planning commission, which met earlier this month, is already recommending approval.
