Plans that will seriously alter the look of the Rosslyn skyline are moving forward.
Penzance, in partnership with The Baupost Group, filed plans with Arlington County late last year for One Rosslyn, a new three-building development that will deliver 850 new residential units. The project, located at the site of Rosslyn Gateway, two office buildings that Penzance purchased from JBG SMITH, will go before the county's Site Plan Review Committee in the coming weeks.
The breakdown of the new residential buildings includes:
- A 29-story tower with upwards of 461 residential units.
- A 27-story tower with upwards of 311 apartments.
- An 82-unit luxury condominium building.
The two residential towers will be centered around a 30,000-square-foot private landscaped terrace that will overlook the adjacent Gateway Park.
Designed by Hickok Cole and STUDIOS Architecture, the new development will also feature nearly 15,000 square feet of retail and at least five outdoor seating areas.
