A large new residential development is on the boards for the southern tip of Barracks Row, UrbanTurf has learned.

The project site consists of ten lots totaling almost 16,000 square feet at the end of Barracks Row just north of Navy Yard. A portion of the address was previously slated for a 14-unit apartment development from NOVO Development, but that parcel was included in Murillo Malnati’s acquisition.
The 75-unit apartment project will join a 22-unit project planned around the corner at 801 Virginia Avenue SE, and will sit just a few blocks south of what was just crowned DC’s best restaurant.
