Big redevelopment plans are on the boards for a church-owned site in Brookland.

The new five-story building, designed by PGN Architects + Michael Graves Architecture, would consist of 70 residential units affordable to senior citizens earning up to 50% median family income. The second through fifth floors would house residential units while the penthouse level will have residences and an amenity room. The northern block of the new development will be home to the new church space.
This project is just one of a handful of church-related developments on the boards in DC. Below are some others that UrbanTurf has covered over the last year.
