60-Unit Condo and Townhouse Development Planned For Downtown Bethesda
Add another residential project to the growing pipeline of new development in downtown Bethesda.
Broad Branch Partners and Mosaic Realty Partners have filed a concept plan application with Montgomery County for a development that would bring 54 condominiums and six townhouse units to a plot just east of Woodmont Triangle (map). The project is designed by Torti Gallas Partners.

In addition to the 60 proposed residential units, there will be 99 structured private parking spaces, and a half-acre public park as part of the new development. Seven of the residences will be moderately-priced dwelling units.
The new residential project is part of a joint venture that was selected to redevelop lots 44 and 25, two Montgomery County controlled surface parking lots.
"The Applicant is submitting this Concept Plan application to obtain advance Development Review Committee (DRC) comments that will facilitate efficient review of the combined applications in early 2024 and allow for a Planning Board hearing by May 2024," documents filed with the county stated.
The plans for Lot 25 are in the very early stages, but will consist of an approximately 230-unit apartment building with 145 public parking spaces from Monument Realty, of which 20% of the units will be affordable.
