A 558-unit residential development that will be built in two phases is on the boards for the site of the McDonalds in Navy Yard.
Plans for the development at 2 Eye Street SE (map) were filed with the Board of Zoning Adjustment on Tuesday. The development team of Crescent Communities and RCP Development are working with SK+I Architectural Design Group on the planned development.
In addition to two phases of 558 total residential units, the project will have retail and 143 parking spaces. The proposed development site appears to still be owned by McDonalds, and UrbanTurf has reached out to a representative for the development to find out when the sale will be finalized.
