At the end of last year, UrbanTurf reported on a mixed-use development proposed for the site of a Verizon building in National Landing. Now, more details, more-detailed renderings, and bigger ambitions are emerging for the project.

An LCOR subsidiary filed its final site plan application last week to construct an 18-story residential-over-retail building at 400 11th Street South (map). While the initial plans last year were for a 285-unit building with 12,194 square feet of commercial space, the latest plans are for 306 units atop 10,653 square feet of split between four commercial spaces.

The number of parking spaces has increased from 114 to 149; there would also be 141 bicycle parking spaces. The proposal requires a site plan amendment to rezone the 0.92-acre parcel from RA-H-3.2 to C-O-Crystal City.
SK+I Architectural Design Group is the architect for the project, which would also include a rooftop pool and clubroom.
This project is the latest in a string of proposed developments in the National Landing area which have recently added residential units in the wake of Amazon's arrival.
